Water Quality Education

We are active for last 10 years in the conservation of rivers and generating awareness about the concept of ‘water-quality’ among people. Our short programs normally include Clean ups of lakes and ponds and demonstration of concept of water-quality with help of modern equipment. We have experienced that, by generating awareness about the water quality, it becomes easier for communities to identify the impurities in the water and avoid uses of contaminated water for drinking to lead a healthier life. These programs are organized currently on some of the Ghats of Yamuna and the Ganges rivers.

Every year we are celebrating “Ganga-Dusherra” festival as a day to create awareness about the conservation of our rivers and other water resources.

Water Purification Parameters

Water is the most important commodity to sustain life and any impurity can lead to serious health problems. The water, which appears clean to us may contain many invisible impurities. We emphasize greatly on the concept of ‘water-quality’ and advocate knowledge of water quality for everyone and also teach the methods to know the quality of water available to people for drinking. We organize regular training programs to use machines for testing water-quality to interested people.
